Pre-glued cluster lashes are primarily designed for single-day wear. They’re made to be quick, hygienic, and easy to apply and remove — not for long-term use or repeated wear.
In some cases, a cluster may be reusable if it’s removed very carefully and the adhesive strip remains clean, intact, and tacky. However, because the adhesive is pre-applied and activated by pressure, reusability can’t be guaranteed.
Once clusters have been worn, a few things can affect whether they’ll work again:
-
Natural oils from the skin and lashes
-
Makeup residue
-
Dust or lint picked up during removal
-
Loss of tackiness in the adhesive strip
It’s important to avoid washing, soaking, or cleansing pre-glued clusters. Water, oil, or cleanser will break down the adhesive and make the clusters unusable.
From a hygiene point of view, pre-glued cluster lashes are best treated as a single-use product. Using fresh clusters each time helps prevent irritation and ensures the lashes apply securely and comfortably.
While a carefully removed cluster might be reused once in some situations, for the best results — and for lash and eye health — we always recommend starting with fresh clusters for each application.
